2009 SUAF Social Event
Much fun and camaraderie was experienced at the April Social. Some came dressed in '50's through '70's apparel, others came "as is." Some line danced under John Olivar's and Alma Lavergne's tutelage. Others chatted and exchanged ideas on Kiekegaard or Pacquiao. There wa a Filipino game time led by John Olivar, a session of reminiscing childhood games like "Takyan", "kumpyang", "Pitik". It was also a reality check for most players, feeling their creaky joints and lack of coordination.
When dinner time came, everyone consumed barbecue and all the other dishes. Special mention goes to Bonette and Romy Cruspero who brought marinated meet to feed a battalion.
Meanwhile, two tables of Mahjong aficionados were busy building their strategies crying "Pong!", "Shia!", "Kang!", "Mahjong!".
