We are so pleased
We are so pleased that you have taken time to peruse our website. As you may observe, this website's purpose is threefold: to inform the general public the comings and goings of the Sillimanians and friends in San Diego, to serve as a tool for finding friends, schoolmates and classmates as well as to enhance the memory of SUAF@SD members of things past and things to come.
Because we are one of the smaller Alumni groups, we are close to each other and the frequency of our get-together is high. We do all these things because of our commonality as having graduated, worked, attended , taught, having friends from Silliman University.
Needless to say, we also have this in common: our Filipino heritage. Aside from having lechon on the banquet table, the staple of our meetings is food, ballroom dancing is a regular activity, laughter bouncing off the walls is a constant, and most of our homes are adorned by a piano. But in all seriousness, we celebrate our heritage by our donation of Filipino literature to our local Mira Mesa library which has been highly acclaimed far and near.
We hope this website will inspire you to join us. As long as you have some kind of connection with Silliman or Silliman Alumni, a resident of San Diego or thereabouts, you are welcome to our group.
